Will I need a driver?
Some procedures require you to have a driver for your safety (i.e., if an anesthetic is administered). When the appointment is made, you will be told if a driver is needed. Please make the necessary arrangements or let us know in advance so we can make arrangements for you.
I'm coming from out of town. Where can I spend the night?
CMI will be happy to assist with overnight accommodations for out-of-town patients. We request 24 hours notice if your would like us our assistance.
What type of clothing should I wear for my exam?
Wear comfortable, metal-free clothing (i.e., sweat pants, T-shirt, shorts, metal-free bra, etc.). It may be necessary to have you change into an examination gown or robe depending on the area being scanned. Keyed lockers will be provided for your clothing and valuables
What if I still have questions after reviewing this website?
There will be time for one of our technologist to answer all your questions before your exam begins. Printed material is also available to detail each specific procedure. We invite you to contact us with any immediate questions or concerns.
